Traffic is a mess. Your best bet for getting around Buenos Aires is to walk or take the subway. If you must travel on 4 wheels, check one of the many bus lines that run through the city. There are also several rail options available. You'll need a SUBE card. Push comes to shove, take a taxi or an Uber, Lyft, or Cabify rideshare service.

Having a cellphone is a must. You'll need a local carrier service. Movistar is the most reliable mobile phone service. You can buy a SIM card for very cheap at almost any Movistar or shop where cellphones and accessories are sold. Once you buy the chip, you need to add some personal information like your name and ID number. Once you're doing using the chip, keep it or disposal of it so that nobody can use it for illegal activity.
Shopping depends on what you're looking to buy. For good quality clothes at affordable prices, visit Santa Fe Avenue in Barrrio Norte or Avenida Cabildo in Belgrano. For cheap clothes, go to the Once Neighborhood or Calle Avellaneda. For leather, go to Avenida Scalabrini Ortiz and Calle Murillo. For everyday goods, you can shop at any of the many Chino markets. They sell everything you need to get by.

There's so much to do in BA. Start your journey by exploring the historic neighborhoods like San Telmo, known for its antique markets and tango music echoing through cobbled streets. Don't miss the iconic Obelisco and Casa Rosada in the city center. Puerto Madero makes for a nice visit day or night. Just don't stray from the area after dark as danger lurks. The Recoleta Cemetery and Museo de Bellas Artes are a must see due to their rich cultural heritage.
Start your evening at one of the Buenos Aires' many parrillas for mouthwatering Argentine beef and local wines. The city's bars and clubs beckon with their vibrant energy. Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood are renowned for their trendy bars, where you can sip on craft cocktails and dance the night away to eclectic music. Plaza Serrano is a really cool spot with lots of bars, some offering live music and entertainment. To watch US sports, visit the Alamo on Uruguay street in Recoleta.
